Vintage French Candy Dish

Vintage French Covered Dish from Monaco, ca. 1950. 7” D x 6”H. Typical of potteries found in/around the principality of Monaco. 2-piece covered dish, probably for candy/bon-bons. Cream-base pottery decorated with teal-green, orange, yellow, blue and cranberry florals. Lid knob is a fish, interior of bowl also decorated in florals. Overall very good condition, with a couple of stable age cracks in base. Signed on base by the artist - Cerart.
