An oldie! French Copper Soup Kettle, ca. 1880 (late
19th century). Wonderfully primitive, typically found in
larger kitchens with fireplaces. Solid copper with
cast-iron lid, handle and feet. Riveted detailing on lid
and body. Original patina, with typical wear from use.
Perfect for preparing larger batches of soup over an
open flame. No tin lining (but could be tinned for use).
